Itinerary
Your five-day vacation to Ladakh begins when you arrive at the airport in Leh. At the Leh airport, you will meet our agents. They will be there waiting to greet and receive you. Once you have spoken with one of our employees, they will direct you to the hotel that has been reserved. Register at the hotel. You have the entire day to unwind and relax. You are welcome to explore surrounding locations or the neighbourhood market on your own. Dinner and a hotel room are included.
We will go off for Nubra Valley after an early breakfast. The distance between it and Leh is 140 kilometres. We will go across the Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world, en route to
Nubra Valley. It is 5602 metres above sea level. We will see the sand dunes at Hunder after we reach Nubra. Here, you can take a camel ride if you like. If time allows, we'll visit the Thunder and Diskit Monasteries after touring Hunder. Once you've seen everything there is to see, you'll check into one of the opulent campgrounds in Nubra Valley. The evening is unhurried. Dinner and sleeping in the camp.
We will leave for the Diskit Monastery after a delicious breakfast. The Diskit Monastery is the largest and oldest monastery in the entire Nubra Valley. This monastery was founded by Changzeb Sherab Zangpo. This monastery is well known for hosting the celebrated "Dosmoche" or "scapegoat" festival. This celebration takes place in February. We'll visit Deskit Monastery first, then head to Pangong Lake. The lake is situated at 4350 metres above sea level. This lake lies near the boundary between China and India. The lake's ability to change colour throughout the year or even the day is its most amazing characteristic. The scenery is spectacular because mountains encircle this lake.
We will begin our return trip to Leh over the Khardungla Pass after breakfast. We'll stop at Sindhu Ghat and Thiksey Monastery en route to Leh. 19 kilometres separate Leh and the Thiksey Monastery. It is perched atop a hill and resembles Tibet's Potala Palace in Lhasa. A well-known riverside called Sindhu Ghat is close to the Shey Monastery. The picturesque beauty of this area draws people in. In June, the well-known Sindhu Darshan festival is held here, attracting lots of visitors. The campfire and many daring activities are also well-known at this location. While in Leh, take a taxi to your hotel and unwind. The evening is open to everyone.
Once breakfast is completed, one of our agents will assist you in getting to Leh Airport. Your return flight will depart from this point. The tour is over now.
